New phone

Just changed my phone. Here is a video taken on it. In the midst of stress and business we can all take a moment and reflect that life continues no matter what.

Keep going

"if you are going through hell, keep going"-Winston Churchill. Sometimes you have to push through exhaustion and everything to keep going. I sat in on a blues gig yesterday that got done at 3:30AM this morning and had to drive back to teach. In many ways, these are the days that you feel most alive.

This is the second improv and is less dissonant than the first.

We will be saved from the problems in our life in due time. Maybe not when we want but when we need.

Passion

So today I had a job interview. At the end of the interview the interviewer said "I don't question your qualifications but I don't think you want the job." This reminded me of so many opportunities where people ask me what I want to do. I always give a convoluted response. It is irresponsible and childish to be passionate about what I want. I want to play music that changes the world.

This is a first improv/composition of many where the focus will be passion and message. I want to play music that effects you. Let me know what your thoughts are. We are in this journey together.
